Description
Volumetric sorting table for sale, an air separator, separates light and heavy materials from a given material flow. The materials, composed of a mixture of "light" and "heavy" materials, are conveyed by an infeed conveyor, where they are accelerated to the discharge point.
At the conveyor outlet, a jet of air is blown through the materials via the "air knife." The latter is connected to a powerful integrated fan. Its wide and narrow outlet extends across the entire width of the infeed conveyor and produces an airflow that passes through the materials, which fall into two respective bins.
The "light" materials are carried by this airflow and expelled from the heavy materials, while the "heavy" materials fall vertically, thus separating them from the "light" materials! Heavy items can be dropped into a bin or storage area, or transported to the side of the machine via the optional side conveyor.
Process 10 to 12 ton by hour.
