The CT 40 single-drum roller was designed with the aim of developing very high centrifugal force in a very small format. In fact, the CT 40 is by far the shortest single-drum roller in the 40 to 42 in. category. Our goals in designing and manufacturing the single drum roller were a) high compaction performance, b) reliability, c) maneuverability, d) ease of repair, and e) parts availability. The Corniver CT 40 single-drum roller demonstrated very early on its “UNRIVALED PERFORMANCE” on building sites by being more efficient than single-drum vibratory rollers in the 54 to 56 in. category, and even those in the 84 in. category.
Well known for its unrivaled performance, this powerful model develops a centrifugal force of 55.8 kN (12,500 lb) over 40 in., with excellent isolation from roller vibration relative to the frame. The CT 40 ride-on compactor roller is the ideal single-drum roller for compaction.
